Ginger Lamb Chops Recipe

Ingredients

Lamb Chops 12
Papaya Paste 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ginger Paste 3 tbsp
Garlic Paste 4 tsp
Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp
Cream 3 tbsp
Cumin Powder 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
Garam Masala 2 tsp
Lend Butter for basting

Instructions

Clean chops and flatten them slightly with a spatula.
Mix together the papaya paste, salt, ginger garlic pastes and pepper and rub the mixture onto the chops.
Keep aside for 3-4 hours.
Whisk cream along with cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala and lemon juice.
Coat chops well and leave to marinate further for an hour.
Preheat oven to 175C/350F.
Skewer chops an inch apart and roast in oven for 10-12 minutes.
Hang skewer for a couple of minutes to let excess liquid drip off.
Baste with butter and roast again for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
