Ingredients

Ladyfingers (whole) 1/2 kg
Onions medium size, thinly sliced 4
Nigel seeds (kalonji) 1/2 tsp
Green chilies 4
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Dried mango powder 2 tbsp
Lemons 2
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Aniseed (saunf) 1/2 tsp
Salt to tastes
Dalda or your choice of cooking oil 3/4 cup

Instructions

Wash the ladyfingers. Chop off the tough part.
Mix all the spices and sliced onions with it.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the ladyfingers for about 5 minutes and then cover with a lid for about 10 minutes.
Serve hot.
